At Followmont Transport, we have made heavy investments in technology in recent years, and now boast a comprehensive freight management system that allows seamless communication of data to and from our customers.

Included customer features in this system are data downloading, Internet POD viewing, mobile data transmission, on-line account reconciliation, electronic delivery of statements and account information and many other exciting features, all within our fully integrated website.

Followmont operates state-of-the-art server and network infrastructure including two fully redundant data centres, and a robust managed network between all major sites. To protect our information, and that of our customers, we use modern firewalls and intrusion prevention hardware.

We have a large fleet of NextG enabled mobile data units in our major locations. These provide electronic Sign-On-Glass, freight scanning and pickup/delivery operations.

All “proof of delivery” paperwork is scanned on a daily basis in the major centres, and is available over the Internet for viewing via a secure log-in. These are retained for 6 months, and are then moved to archived storage
