Followmont Transport Update

The good news today is that we are getting through to the North again with linehaul vehicles making their way to Townsville and Cairns through the night. Please be aware there is a massive amount to process and we are working through this a quickly as we can and everyone is aware of their priorities. We appreciate everybody’s patience during these unfortunate circumstances and look forward to continuing our standard services in the near future.

We are still experiencing difficulties getting to and west of Rockhampton. There has been random flooding at different locations through the night delaying our transit times to Rockhampton and Gladstone areas. The Capricorn highway has again reopened giving us access back into Emerald but again with the backlog of freight arriving there around lunchtime we are asking for everyone’s patience and understanding. Please be assured we will provide the best possible service available under these given circumstances.
